Dr. Yessica Green Rosas is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco and a HealthySteps Specialist at the Children’s Health Center at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. She is a native Spanish speaker and has experience providing clinical services and training in both English and Spanish. Her research seeks to address systemic inequities by enhancing engagement and outcomes in mental health services for Latine families. She is a certified Parent-Child Interaction Therapy Within Agency Trainer, and has co-led international PCIT trainings in both Chile and Mexico. She has extensive experience delivering evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and PCIT in community, hospital, and university clinic settings.
Dr. Green Rosas received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of San Diego and her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She completed her predoctoral internship at the UCSF Multicultural Clinical Training Program. At MCTP, she provided individual mental health treatment to youth, Child-Parent Psychotherapy to families, and dyadic services in pediatric primary care.
