Dr. Cheng Qian is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at UCSF and a licensed clinical psychologist at the Children's Health Center at ZSFG. Dr. Qian’s clinical interests include pediatric primary care, early diagnosis and treatment of neurodevelopmental disabilities, and culturally sensitive dyadic interventions. She is a passionate advocate for early childhood mental health services, especially in underserved communities, in both the U.S. and internationally.
Dr. Qian received her Psy.D. from the PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. program. She completed her pre-doctoral internship in Child Psychology at Children’s Mercy Kansas City and her postdoctoral fellowship in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Qian also holds a Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
