Anda is a professor in the Department of Pediatrics who is passionate about leveraging the expertise we have at UCSF and in our community to make child health and wellness a reality for all children in the Bay Area. To achieve this vision, Anda helped to establish the cross-bay UCSF Center for Child and Community Health. She currently serves as the Department's Director of Health Equity and Community Engagement and is a senior advisor for the UCLA-UCSF ACEs Aware Family Resilience Network (UCAAN).
Anda believes our unique health professions-focused campus has an opportunity to explicitly develop leaders who will transform health throughout the life course of individuals and communities. Anda had the incredible opportunity to be the Founding Director of the UCSF Pediatric Leadership for the Underserved (PLUS) residency program (2004-15) and served as the Associate Director of Curriculum for the UCSF Pathways to Health and Society (2011-15). From 2020-22, Anda was the co-Director of the CA ACEs Learning and Quality Improvement Collaborative.
